Where to find a Salon de the?

Looking for Le Marche, Salon de The, Paris

I am seeking the whereabouts of a Salon de The, called Le Marche - I initially believed it to be in Montmartre, but my recent visits to that area have not resulted in locating the salon.

Where to find Le Marche, Salon de The, in Paris?

Hi there John, I just did a quick google search and located the salon de the called "Le Marche" (which means The Market, in French).

Tip on searching - type:
"salon de the" paris "le marche"

I found it - Le Marche is located on a wonderful little square in Paris, the Place du Marche Sainte-Catherine.

Place du Marche Ste-Catherine is in the Marais district postcode 75004 (near the Bastille monument, metro Bastille), lined with restaurants and lots of people enjoying themselves. It's off-the-beaten-track so not very touristy.

This charming square takes its name from the convent of Sainte-Catherine-du-Val-des-Ecoliers which once inhabited this area.

It was interesting to find out that this square was one of the locations used during the filming of The Bourne Identity - one of my favourite movies.

I do hope it's still there, I'll check next time I'm in Paris.
