My husband & I will be in Paris in late September. This will be our first trip there.

What type of clothing do you suggest for the weather?

Teena -- Thanks for quick reply!

P.S. I love your website! It's been extremely helpful & very imformative. My favorite part is the French pronunciation complete with voice!

Answer: What's the weather in September in Paris?

Hi Cindy!

You're the first person to tell me they like my little audio clips of me speaking French - thank you soooo much! I'm always thrilled to hear that I've helped someone. Here are the links if anyone else would like to listen and practice their French:

Now - getting back to the weather! I do have a page about the weather on this website, located here:

Weather in Paris page >>

This is where I go to see what the weather outlook is for the next 10 days, so although this doesn't predict weather at the end of September, it certainly can give you 10 day's worth of predicted weather in advance.

I've just had a look today - 31st August, 2008 - and the weather for the 1st Sept is predicted to be a lovely high of 79 degrees F, but with a spot of rain and temps dropping to highs of around 63 degrees, that's rather chilly for summer.

The weather does start to get warmer around the 10th of September, but I can't guarantee what it will be like at the end of the month.

Cindy your best bet is to take layers of clothing, so sleeveless or short-sleeved tops for sunny hot days, but also take long sleeves and a warmer top or two in case of chilly weather - and always take a warmer top with you in your handbag or carry bag for the day.

Better to be safe than sorry, and there's nothing worse than being cold on holidays! Don't forget to take some socks and covered shoes in case you have a few wet days.

I do hope this helps, and I'd love to hear back from you to let me know how your trip went. You can even upload photos to this page if you like - it's now YOUR page on my website :-)

Have a faaabulous time!

Cheers

Teena
