When I was composing Travel Packing Tips for Men, I asked a few of my male friends what they had on their list of “must take with them”.

Of course, this all depends on the nature of the trip. For example if you’re backpacking, you’re not likely to need a suit :-) The list could be all casual clothing, or a mix, depending on whether you’ll be attending meetings, or going out to a fancy dinner.

Here are some ideas for a Men’s clothing travel packing list

Undershirt (if you wear one)
Briefs/boxer shorts/undies
Shirts [daytime and night-time]
Dressy trousers
Jeans or casual pants
Tie (if you wear one)
Jacket, blazer or cardigan
Suit (if needed)
Sweater, casual polo top
Shorts
Pyjamas/pajamas [consider using a t-shirt only]
Travel hat if required
Winter gloves, hat, coat
Bathing suit and sarong – yes, for men – very versatile item
Footwear – sandals, thongs/flipflops, casual shoes, dressy shoes, winter boots.

These are IDEAS, not a comprehensive list, and I hope this will get you thinking about what you need to take with you.
