Visas are not required by all nationals of countries referred to in the chart, for the following periods:
nationals of EU countries - can visit for an unlimited period of time
Australian nationals, Canadians and Americans can visit for up to 90 days.

Australians cannot apply for a visa for France inside French territory.
France is party to the Schengen Agreement, along with 14 other European countries, which allows Australians to enter France without a visa in some circumstances.
