Paris City Map
75007: located on the Left Bank, is one of the 20 arrondissements of
Paris. Home of the Eiffel Tower (French: Tour Eiffel) -- an iron tower
built on the Champ de Mars beside the Seine River in Paris. The Eiffel
Tower (designed by Monsieur Eiffel) has become a global icon for France
and is one of the most recognizable structures in the whole world.
Another great
icon in the 7th arrondiseement is the Musée du quai Branly
known in English as the Quai Branly Museum, nicknamed MQB.
The museum contains the collections of the
now-closed Musée des Arts Africains et Océaniens
and the ethnographic department of the Musée de l'Homme. The
museum contains an amazing 267,000 objects in the permanent collection,
of which
3,500 items are on display at any one time. The museum also
boasts an amazing exterior - greenery covering its walls, in an
incredible display - you really must pop over and visit it.
