Paris City Map 75003 :  Located to the right of the 2nd arrondissement, 

The 3rd and 4th districts are known as le Marais - the Marshes - and is one of the oldest historical areas. 

The features of this part of Paris are les Archives Nationales (the National Archives), Musée Carnavalet, Conservatoire des Arts et Métiers. 

You can still find many 17th century buildings in this area, where the noblest families lived.
