Gay Travel Paris le Piano Zinc Bar
For
gay travel Paris le Piano Zinc Bar is one of
those places which everyone has heard about. Well - everyone
except me, that is :-)
Le Piano Zinc was very famous in its hey-days in
the 80s and 90s and was a colourful, noisy, outrageous place to visit.
The entrance was rather hidden and unless you knew about le
Piano Zinc, you'd not find it easily. PS : Don't forget to check out the Gay orgainisations, gay bars and clubs, gay saunas, gay events, gay Pride, gay t-shirts and gifts, and the famous le
Piano Zinc bar.
So, what happened to Le Piano Zinc?

Le
Piano Zinc was THE place to go for camp fun nightlife in gay Paris,
opening its doors in 1981 and relaunching in 1999 under a new name. I
guess you could say it was the first karaoke bar before anyone had even
heard of karaoke.
Françoise Hardy - a
Sixties pop star - loved Le Piano Zinc. In April
1999 it was relaunched after a massive make-over as Le Swetty's
Café.
The owners Henri and Guy have
updated the concept, got rid of the old
piano, and have done a marvellous job to keep the spirit of this
legendary bar alive. You'll find it located in the heart of Le Marais -
the gay village.

Gay and Lesbian Paris : Rencontre gay Paris
Paris is wonderfully accepting of everyone,
something I love about this grand old city. Some areas of Paris have
more
gay restaurants and activities than
others, and finding them is half the fun. On this website
you'll find info on gay
organisations and bookstores, gay health, gay
bars and clubs and gay
saunas in Paris, as well as events like Gay
Pride and Solidays, plus other places of interest
and gay shopping tours.
