Major tourist attractions

Eiffel Tower

Rides on the fabulous Carousel of the Eiffel Tower, lots of souvenirs to buy. Aquarium of the Jardin du Trocadéro is across the river – take the train to Métro: Trocadéro.

Catacombs

If your kids like scary stuff, let them see the underground burial place in the Catacombs Paris.

Arc de Triomphe

The majestic Arc de Triomphe (Arch of Triumph) is a symbol of Paris as easily recognisable as the Eiffel Tower.

Notre Dame

Notre Dame Basilica (which means Our Lady) is the most well known church in Paris, sitting atop the hill at Montmartre. Let the kids climb the towers to see theview

When visiting French websites, there are a couple of words you will need to translate. Here are a few to help you out:

TARIFS = Prices

BIENVENUE = Welcome

BILLETTERIE = Tickets

SPECTACLE = The main show

HORAIRES = Opening hours

Tip! ‘Tarif” means ‘Price’
