How much will it cost?
Whenever someone asks me this, I reply that depends on how much you want to spend. 1 and 2 Star hotels are of course considered budget hotels, but you can find a very comfortable place to stay if you don't need all the frills.
I think most people would say budget hotels will cost anywhere from 35 Euros up t 80 or 90 Euros per night, so you can work out your currency exchange to see how much you get for your dollar or whichever currency you're travelling with.
View a picture to see what a Euro looks like, and use the Currency Converter to see how much it converts to in your own currency.

I am very happy to read this website.
I will go to Paris in this November with my family because my husband will do his Master there.
It will take for 10 months to finish his study. I know the rental of apartment in Paris is very expensive, but i have no choice, i think i cannot not survive if i do not follow my husband there. Furthermore this is the chances to go to France.
I live in tropika,1 never been in 4 season country. Any tips for us to stay in Paris? I also cannot speak in French.I think it is difficult to learn the language.Thank you for reading my email.
best regards!

Hi Laila,
Thaks for visiting my website, I'm so pleased you like it, and I do hope it has helped you get to know Paris a bit more before you arrive in November.
What a wonderful oppportunity for you to be in Paris with your husband while he finishes his studies!
There are lots of places to stay in Paris which won't cost much money, but you do need to do some research in advance.
You can try Craigslist where people advertise to rent their apartments in Paris - click this link to read my description on how to use Craigslast:

I also did a Hotel search on this page:
http://www.a-night-in-paris.com/book-hotels-in-paris.html
I typed in the dates 1st Nov to 1st December, 2009, to see how many hotels offer long-term stays. I found 800+
From this list I sorted by Price for Double Room, and the least expensive option is only 33 euro per night (over 30 days), or 233 euro per week, which is very affordable.
At this price for this one Hoste Richard at Voltaire metro, you will need to share a bathroom.
This might not be perfect for a several months in Paris, but it might be a great place at a very reasonable price where you can both stay until you find something more suitable.
Once your husband commences his studies, he will meet others who might be able to offer lots of great suggestions.
I wish you the best of luck for your adventure in Paris!
Au revoir,
Teena
